No. 50, Hibiscus

Flor de Jamaica, as it is known in Central America, is the dried crimson petals of the hibiscus flower. This ravishing scarlet-hued brew, pleasantly tart and high in vitamin C is equally delicious hot or over ice. Allegedly, Cleopatra adored hibiscus tea and believed it enhanced her legendary beauty. Organic.

Brewing Instructions:

Quantity: 1 teaspoon per 8oz / 250ml.

Water temperature: 195ºF / 90ºC  Bring fresh, cold spring water to a boil, remove from heat; set aside 1 minute and proceed.

Brewing time: 5-10 minutes.
