Japanese powdered green tea famous for it's use in Chanoyu, the highly structured traditional Japanese tea ceremony.  It has a lightly astringent grassy flavor and a unique aroma with notes of cocoa.  

Origin:

Uji, Japan.

Brewing Instructions:

Quantity:  1 teaspoon per 4-6oz/120-180ml.

Water temperature:  175ºF/80ºC.  Bring fresh, cold spring water to a boil, remove from heat; set aside 3 minutes and proceed.

Brewing time:  Whisk or stir till the surface froths.
