No. 03, Genmaicha

Rich and buttery, our genmaicha is a blend of equal parts sencha and toasted brown rice. The exceptional quality of both ingredients and the balance of flavor between them make this a necessary part of any genmaicha lover's tea collection. 

Origin: Uji-Tawara, Japan - 2015 

Brewing Instructions: 

  • 1 tsp per 8oz/250ml of water  
  • 175ºF/80ºC  (Bring fresh, cold spring water to a boil. Remove from heat, set aside 3 minutes, and proceed.)  
  • Brew 3-5 minutes  
  • Good for 2 infusions
