Shiso ~ Steamed Edamame ~ Floral ~ Mineral
A unique cultivar created by the very talented Mr. Konishi, is used for this excellent, well-structured sencha which evokes notes of freshly steamed edamame and lively, bright shiso. The brew gradually unfolds to reveal delicate floral suggestions of rose, and a subtle hint of papaya.
This tea was grown on Mr. Konishi's tea garden in Shizuoka, where his family has lived for the past 900 years, without chemicals or pesticides.
