LaKyrsiew Estate is a small and exquisite organic garden located in the misty, lush, cloud-covered hills of Meghalaya in eastern India, bordering Assam. The garden is an enclave in the wild, completely bounded by forests; no cultivation takes places on neighboring lands. The natural cultivation methods also attract abundant wildlife to the garden where monkeys, boar, civet, spotted deer are frequent visitors and the occasional leopard and King cobra can be spotted.
This hand-picked early second-flush tea, is energetic and full-bodied resonating on the palate with notes of ginger, stone fruit, squash and cocoa, with a lingering finish of caramelized toffee. A provocative, meticulously crafted tea.
