No. 67, Giddapahar Darjeeling 2nd Flush

From this small family owned garden comes a delightful medium-bodied second flush, with lasting notes of muscatel grape, burnt sugar, and a slight astringency running up the tongue. Great for the tea novice or the initiated. 


Origin: Giddapahar Estate, Darjeeling, India - 2014 

Brewing Instructions: 

  • 1 tsp per 8 oz/250ml  
  • 195F/90ºC  (Bring cold, fresh spring water to a boil. Remove from heat, set aside 1 minute, and proceed.)  
  • Brew 5-7 minutes  
  • Good for 2 infusions
