No. 26, Gyokuro

Highest grade of Japanese green tea. Celebrated for its complexity and sweetness, part of which is derived from shading the plants during the last three weeks before harvesting. Pale green liquor.

Origin:

Shizuoka, Japan.

Brewing Instructions: 

Quantity: 1 teaspoon per 8oz/250ml.

Water temperature: 149ºF/65ºC. Bring fresh, cold spring water to a boil, remove from heat; set aside 4 minutes and proceed.

Brewing time: 2-4 minutes.
