No. 19, Lapsang Souchong

When you recognize toasted flavor notes, does your palate beg you to push the taste further? Burnt toast, or lightly browned toast? Roasted rice, or baking bread? How about woodsmoke? This organic black tea, scented with pinewood smoke, is a newer tradition among tea growers but still a delicious brew. Plucked at high elevations in the Wuyi Mountains, our choice for this black tea has a distinctive earthy flavor, with strong notes of honey and a rich red liquor.
