No. 82, The Phoenix

This exquisite oolong is grown in the Phoenix Mountains in Guangdong, China. The tea is fragrant and toasty, with notes of sweet stone fruit, orchid, and honey. This tea is traditionally known as Mi Lan Xiang, meaning "Honey Orchid Fragrance." The tea leaves are tumbled and lightly twisted in a dry heat roaster.

Origin: Feng Huang, Guangdong Province, China - 2014 

Brewing Instructions:

  • 2 tsp per 8oz/250ml of water
  • 185ºF/85ºC  (Bring fresh, cold spring water to a boil. Remove from heat, set aside 3 minutes, and proceed.) 
  • Brew 4-6 minutes
  • Good for 2 infusions
